Been a While

It's been quite a long time since I've last posted. But thanks everyone for over 300 views! This is all I can say now. I don't have much else except to say that I've been talking to my friend Justin S. since 10pm, and we're staying up all night chatting over Facebook together. Yep, that's a good buddy.

L.E.Q. Post

So, Rainey (my Critical Thinking teacher) said we needed to post one of our Lesson Essential Questions on our blog. You know, like the authors who post their opinion on a quote. Well, here goes.
 _______________________________________________________________________

"It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged the punishments the scroll:
I am the master of my fate,
the Captain of my soul."
                -William Henley (1849 - 1903) English Poet

Write:
Who is this about?
What is it about?
When does it happen?
Why is he the master?
How is he a captain?

My Answers:
1.) This famous quote is about yourself (or myself).
2.) It is about being the master of your soul, and being in charge of you.
3.) It happens when you realize you can control your actions.
4.) He is the master because he is talking about himself.
5.) He is a captain because he is in charge of himself, and only him.
______________________________________________________________________

Well, that was pretty much it. She said to post the L.E.Q. in which you got a perfect score, and I got a 5/5. It makes you feel good about yourself. I also have more to say. I'm being cyberbullied, called immature and rude. I hadn't done anything. She's the one that is immature though. I'm being the stronger person here. :)

*URGENT NEWS*

Anyone viewing this post right now, click on the 29:59 long video and share it. Make this horrible man famous. Not to celebrate him, but to bring him down, and make him fall hard. He is the Hitler of our time. He abducts children from Uganda, Africa and gives the boys a gun, and the girls to do dirty things. The boys are put into his children army of over 30,000 kids. He forces the boys to kill their own parents, and if they refuse, they themselves are killed.

SPREAD THE WORD.
MAKE HIM FAMOUS.

2-in-1

All right, it's "Random Tuesday" guys. Had to do 2-in-1 post...because I forgot "Song of the Week" yesterday. D: "Random Tuesday" first. (Charlie teh Unicron ep. 1)

*MILD LANGUAGE!*

Just wait til next week. You'll be either peeing yourself, staring emotionless-ly, or getting really creeped out, because I already have what I want to do planned out. Ok, to the Song of the Week, yeahhh!

Corrupt
You're corrupt
Bring corruption to all that you touch
Hold
You behold
And beholden for all that you've done
And spin
Cast a spell
Cast a spell on the country you run
And risk
You will risk
You will risk all their lives and their souls

And burn

You will burn
You will burn in hell, yeah you'll burn in hell
You'll burn in hell
Yeah you'll burn in hell
For your sins

And our freedom's consuming itself

What we've become
It's contrary to what we want

Take a bow

Death

You bring death, and destruction to all that you touch
Pay
You must pay
You must pay for your crimes against the earth
Yeah hex
Feed the hex
Feed the hex on the country you love

Now beg

You will beg
You will beg for their lives and their souls

Now burn

You will burn
You will burn in hell, yeah you'll burn in hell
You'll burn in hell
Yeah you'll burn in hell
You'll burn in hell
Yeah you'll burn in hell
For your sins

New News!

Hey everyone! I have some news, it's not good and it's not bad.

1.) I will be having a new blog (I'm staying on this one) but it will be about my horses. I don't want to flood this blog with horse stuff.

2.) "Song of the Week" is a weekly thing, I will post song video with lyrics.

3.) Tuesdays are "Random Days", days that I will find random (and funny!) videos to post.

*WARNING: SOME VIDEOS MAY CONTAIN MILD LANGUAGE. I WILL POST WARNINGS ALONG WITH THEM IF THEY DO!*

4.) I will be posting links to my friend's blogs to help them get views. Please check them out when I do.

5.) I have nothing else, but I wanted even it out so I went on to 5. :P

Horses...Again!

I keep posting about these horses! You might hear about them a lot in the future. Whitey is a hog, I bring them some hay and he steals all of it when I'm turned away. He nipped at Bittersweet and Chocolei and they got scared, and Poptart was stealing a whole pile of hay and dragging it away! Here's the video in which he gets angry at Chocolei. I was feeding them at the time. (Whitey is horribly named, I'm going to rename him soon, but he's the white one, obviously...)

Horse Visit

I visited Chocolei today again, but he was very shy. Shyer than usual actually. He stayed away from me and the other horses. But I saw a lot of Poptart. He wasn't at all afraid. I have pictures of Chocolei and a video, but I'll post that later. (I also got Whitey and Bittersweet). Here's a picture of Potart and a video of him. He's so sweet!

Poptart!

Morning!

I woke up this morning to dull skies and a cold breeze outside. The soil smelled damp and the concrete was soaked. (I guess it rained..) I love waking up to these kinds of mornings. I open up the window and let all of the earthy smells pour into the room. People hate the rain and love the hot days, but I love the rain and hate the hot days. Rain makes me feel...refreshed. It's strange actually. The sheets on the bed felt cold this morning, and it really gets me awake. Oh! Should I post little pieces of my story at a time? I'll post one today, and if you like it...tell me so I can keep posting it. (so far there's about 1,628 words)

"Strips of sunlight crept through Chase’s window blinds. He squinted and his eyes slowly widened as he adjusted to the light. He sat up like a vampire rising from his coffin, then stretched. He let out a few yawns and slid his legs off the edge of the bed. He sat there for a moment, and then he rose up with some effort. His legs felt heavy as he shuffled toward the restroom. Just as every morning he stared thoughtfully at his reflection in the mirror. He tried to manage a grin, but it faded quickly. He had been living with the Bern’s for the past seven years, and he was tired of their snootiness. They were his adopted parents and today he was running away. This brought a smile to his face. He grabbed his toothbrush and his winter green toothpaste and spread the green mush onto the bristles of his brush. The paste turned to foam and he rinsed his mouth. Chase’s teeth were white and practically perfect. His dark hair flipped naturally to the left, but this morning it was utterly sloppy. He removed his comb from the medicine cabinet and thoroughly swept it through his slightly thick hair. He looked at himself once more and shot himself a longing look. He exited the bathroom and turned out the light. His weight (which isn’t very much) made the old floor of the top floor hall creak. He tiptoes so he didn’t awaken his “mother and father.” A loud creak came from beneath his feet and he winced. He opened one eye and scanned the room. He let out a sigh of relief and continued walking back to his room. He strode directly to his closet and chose a dark green long sleeved shirt. He opened his drawer and pulled a pair of denim blue jeans. He slid them on and pulled on a pair of winter boots. Banff was a rather cold place in the fall... He removed his thick winters coat from the hanger and put it on. Walking downstairs, he made sure he was cautious and alert. He reached the foot of the stairs and searched for any movement around him. He inched toward the pantry and grabbed a whole ham, some fruit, and a week's worth of crackers. He continued back for the refrigerator and grabbed two gallons of water, and a quart of juice. He placed all of them in his backpack, along with a lighter, papers, a blade, rope, and a pencil or two. He ran lightly toward the door, unlocked it, and opened it. He froze and closed his eyes. He took in fresh natural air and stepped outside. He quietly shut the door behind him and locked it back with his screwdriver."

Grandma's House

Hi again! Now I have some pictures from my Grandma's house. So far I've went on a boat trip and I went to see the manatees! This will be a shorter post but I also have some news.

I have 200+ Views!

You might have seen it on the ticker gadget I put up yesterday, but thank you guys (and gals) so much! Anyway, some more news from my friend David. He auditioned for Harrison a while ago, and today he found out the results. He texted me saying..."I GOT IN!". He was pretty excited that he made it too.

All right, going back to my visit at my Grandma's. The pictures are here!

Mother and baby manatee.

Saw these manatees together near the fence in the water. The fence blocks off the powerplant waters from the boat commotion. During manatee season, there's signs that say "Idle Speed, NO WAKE".

Powerplant.

When you first come out from the sea-side neighborhood you see this. It takes about 5-7 minutes to get out here since you have to go so slow. But once your out, you can go as fast as you want.

Grandma's backyard.

Beach Days

Hey everyone! I have one more blog for you to check out today. Look down again!
(and she spelled it wrong, don't tell her!)
Awsome Blogs By Me (CHECK IT OUT)

And some news, I changed my display name. If you want to know who I am, I need to know who you are so I don't tell a stranger. Just letting you guys know!

Okay, now onto what the point of this post was. Today, I'm going to my Grandma's house. She lives about 50 miles away, a good hour drive at least. She lives by the bay, and her backyard is a canal. Whenever we go to visit her, my Grandpa takes us fishing. We either go to the island, or just to the pilings (wreckage of an old bridge. There's a picture down there). She lives near a powerplant which makes the water warmer, so during the winter, manatees come. There is a nearby manatee walk where you can walk on this bridge and watch the manatees. If you watch the news (you probably don't) you would've seen the manatee that got caught in a crab trap. It was sort of on the shore where they were, but that's about 5 minutes away from my Grandma's by boat. Whenever we go on the jet-ski, dolphins come around us. I've never gotten to pet one, but my G-Pa has. When it's nice and warm, we go to the island for a swim. Hermit crabs and sea snails tickle us, and jellyfish blobs are hovering on water. That reminds me of one time when I went to the Keys and we went out on the boat to a reef. It was beautiful blue water and it was about 15 feet deep. There were brightly colored fish, and a few nurse sharks. You think 15 feet is deep? Well we rode out further to sea, and we stopped for a break. We jumped in the water with our scuba masks on and we went underwater. It was scary how deep it was, about 800 feet. All you saw was light blue turn to black as it went deeper and deeper. The rest of the time, I pretty much slept in the hot sun on the thing similar to a "crow's nest" on a ship. We returned to our home in the Keys and were welcomed with deer following us. Yep, Key deer. They pester you like crazy, but the cute thing is, they'll walk right up to you and let you pet them. I named one Boney, and another Foamy (I think it was rabid or something, because it was foaming at the mouth..). Boney was utterly skinny. But I will get you guys updated for my trip to my Grandma's. She has a 3D TV! :D

Fans

No, not my fans. But me as a fan. For one, you guys should really check out these three blogs. Look down there....

The Life of Boring Me
The Beginning of My Endless Road
Melody of Thoughts

I ♥ Owl City!
Thanks if you checked em out. Shame if you didn't. But anyway, I'm a fan of this band called -- Owl City. Adam Young just brings together the perfect elements of music and combines them to make the perfect piece of music. OC has sort of an electronica feel to it, and that's pretty much what musical genre it is. Adam's voice is perfect, no cracks, no horrible, ugly sounding yells, nothing that could ruin his music. His lyrics may not make any sense to you, but to me? They're perfect sense. Every word forms a story, sad, happy, or just for the heck of it. Umbrella Beach by them makes sense to me, but if a person completely new to Owl City listened to it, they'd probably say either "What's the point of this song?" or "I don't get it." Obviously his music is perfection. So perfect. Why? Well I heard one of his older songs on the radio a long time ago, "Fireflies". I liked that song so I looked up Owl City. Usually I like one song by one artist, and hate all the others. But for Adam's music, I fell in love with each and every one. That's not an everyday thing for me. And, I could put one song on repeat, and listen to it NONSTOP. That's just how good it is.

Shcool

Yes, I purposely mispelled school. It's no longer school to me, but it is now shcool. (sh-kool) I don't really like my shcool, but I noticed something. My shcool is very...VERY strict. Khakis (or pay a dollar on special occasions to wear jeans). Black or brown belt. Earring no bigger than a quarter, necklace inside your shirt, two buttons up, etc. I hate it. Horrible shcool. Anywayyyy, have to be back at the classroom at 11:00. I'll post at home! Bye!

Song of the Week

I love this song. Owl City is an amazing band. Lyrics from [- From: http://www.elyrics.net/read/o/owl-city-lyrics/on-the-wing-lyrics.html -]

I hate posting twice in a row...

Breathe and I'll carry you away into the velvet sky
And we'll stir the stars around
And watch them fall away into the Hudson Bay
And plummet out of sight and sound

The open summer breeze will sweep you through the hills
Where I live in the alpine heights
Below the Northern Lights, I spend my coldest nights
Alone, awake and thinking of the weekend we were in love

Home among these mountain tops can be so awfully dull
A thousand miles from the tide
But photos on the walls of New York shopping malls
Distract me so I stay inside

I wish the rockets stayed over the promenade
'Cause I would make a hook and eye
And fish them from the sky, my darling, she and I
We're hanging on so take us high to sing the world goodbye

I am floating away, lost in a silent ballet
I'm dreaming you're out in the blue and I am right beside you
Awake to take in the view
Late nights and early parades, still photos and noisy arcades
My darling, we're both on the wing
Look down and keep on singing and we can go anywhere

Are you there?
Are you there or are you just a decoy dream in my head?
Am I home or am I simply tumbling all alone?

I am floating away, lost in a silent ballet
I'm dreaming you're out in the blue and I am right beside you
Awake to take in the view
Late nights and early parades, still photos and noisy arcades
My darling, we're both on the wing
Look down and keep on singing and we can go anywhere

Are you there?
Are you there?

Chipper

My family's favorite dog is a dachshund (a wiener dog). We have three of them, so it's easy to tell. The youngest is Willow. She's a blue and tan dachshund, and she is one year old. Jimmie is a long haired piebald (white and brown) one. He's about five. But the oldest one, Chipper, is eleven. Not a lot of my friends enjoy his company, because his breath is pretty bad. We decided to deal with that today. Before school when my parents dropped me off at the bus stop, we grabbed Chipper and put him in the truck. After my parents dropped me off, they headed to the SPCA. After I got home from school, my dad went to go pick up the dog. Turns out, he had to have 16 teeth pulled from his top jaw, and now he needs to have pain medication. Right now he's sleeping on a blue fuzzy blanket on the living room's leather chair...or my favorite chair. :D
